"Note: The 2026 version of the Protect Your Family from Lead in Your Home pamphlet is available in English and Spanish. This version reflects the new dust-lead action levels (previously referred to as the dust-lead clearance levels) and dust-lead reportable levels (previously referred to as the dust-lead hazard standards) that are effective Jan. 12, 2026. These levels are referenced on pages 6 and 11. Pages 10 and 11 of the January 2026 version will reflect the updated definition of abatement to address lead-based paint hazards, effective on Jan. 13, 2025.
